This is Big Boy and what a fantastic dog he is. He sits on command, and stays too! He is super attentive and calm. Not a sound out of him, despite tons of barking all around him?.he remains calm and steadfast. There are 2 things he does not respond well to: 1) cats & 2) small dogs. He is HW negative and from what we have seen ? a true gentleman in his black & white tux! He?s a chunk! He is about 70 lbs. Big Boy is probably about 3 y/o. Big Boy LOVED playing with the stuffed animal and having Jeremy tease him with it. In fact he loved it sooooooo much they let him take the stuffed toy back to his pen :-) (After all, you can't take the boy's pillow from him!) He was, however, a little too interested in the shelter cat so no kitties or as how he may perceive "really cool animated stuffed toys" in his new home.
Oh, and by the way, all the pets at the shelter really need YOUR help! Volunteers for dog walkers, shelter workers, transport to and from vet appointments, and foster homes are DESPERATELY needed. Overpopulation in our area is a huge problem. Contact the shelter by email or phone if you can be part of the solution!
